Mammograms
Robert can review your breast-screening history and, when appropriate, order a mammogram to be performed at an outside imaging center. You do not need to arrange a separate women’s health appointment solely to discuss a routine screening mammogram with Carroll Health & Wellness. The appropriate examination depends on your symptoms, screening history and individual risk.
Results and next steps
Robert reviews and communicates the results of mammograms ordered through Carroll Health & Wellness. Reviewed normal results are shared through your patient portal. If the report is incomplete, abnormal, or recommends additional testing or repeat imaging sooner than your next routine screening, Robert will contact you, explain the next step, and recommend an appropriate women’s health or breast-care provider.
Review and communication of the result, along with related follow-up on the order, remain part of your included care. Additional imaging, procedures and outside-provider visits are billed separately.
Pap/HPV tests and pelvic examinations
Pap/HPV sample collection and pelvic examinations require an in-person clinician. Robert can review your screening history and help you find an appropriate women’s health provider, but these examinations are not performed during a Carroll Health & Wellness video visit.
Costs
University Radiology’s self-pay price for a screening mammogram of both breasts with 3D imaging is $305. Prices provided by University Radiology on September 9, 2026. Prices may change, and the imaging charge is separate from your $123 consultation. Confirm the exact examination and current total before booking.

These resources can help with cervical screening, breast screening or financial assistance. They are not prerequisites for Robert to order an appropriate mammogram.
NJCEED
The New Jersey Cancer Education and Early Detection program (NJCEED) offers free breast and cervical screening to eligible uninsured or underinsured people with household income at or below 250% of the federal poverty level. The program confirms age and other eligibility requirements for each service.

Hoboken Family Planning administers Union County’s program. Its administrative office is in Hoboken; ask for the actual screening appointment location in Union County. Confirm eligibility and which services are covered.

Start with your county’s NJCEED lead agency to find a participating provider. Eligibility for free screening does not mean every additional test or treatment is free.

Before you book
Confirm the actual appointment address, records to bring and whether an order is needed. Not every clinic performs mammograms on site. Ask about the total cost, financial assistance and insurance; outside appointments, laboratory processing and imaging are separate from your consultation.
Screening depends on your age, history and risk. A new breast lump, nipple changes or unusual vaginal bleeding needs clinical evaluation rather than waiting for routine screening.
